Mark Taber, Partner in the Transaction Services Group with Virchow, Krause & Company, LLP, has been with the firm since 1999. Prior to joining Virchow Krause, Mark worked for 15 years in the financial services industry managing client relationships in the small business and middle market commercial areas. Mark uses that experience today consulting with businesses on debt and equity structuring as well as general management. In addition, Mark provides financial institutions with training and consulting on commercial lending and portfolio risk management.

SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE

• Specializes in assisting clients in corporate finance to include debt placement and raising equity.
• Develops business plans for start-up enterprises to include financial forecasts and capital structure.
• Serves as interim general manager for companies in transition or in need of turnaround management.
• Conducts loan reviews for financial services companies to reduce portfolio risk.
• Evaluates private offering memorandums for suitability of investment.
• Conducts commercial lending training sessions for banks and credit unions.
• Analyzes and underwrites large commercial credits for community banks and credit unions.
